Barga Jazz Club new season opens

A sure sign that the summer season is definitely over and the autumn is upon us is when the Barga Jazz Club opens its doors for the new season.

Why is it a sure sign?

Well it’s all to do with heat and sound.

During the summer months it is just too hot to play inside the jazz club with the windows closed.  With the windows open the music can be heard right across Barga Vecchia.
Which is fine if you like jazz, but if you are not a fan after a while it can become shall we say ” tiresome”

During the winter months there is soundproofing put up against the closed windows keeping the sound where it should be -  for those that enjoy it.

Last night was the opening for the new season at the jazz club so it means  that the caller’s season has arrived and the jazz musicians can once again enjoy their Friday night sessions.

Anche per quest’anno il Barga Jazz Club apre i battenti!
E lo fa con una Jam Session, un’occasione per riunire amici e musicisti che hanno popolato Barga durante tutta l’estate, a partire da Live In Barga per passare a Barga Jazz e così via.

Tanti musicisti per una delle più “variopinte” serate che caratterizzano la stagione del Barga Jazz Club e un ospite d’eccezione, il trombettista Marco Bartalini.
