Yesterday the carpark on the Fosso was filled with the sound of high-performance sports cars as the first regional Lotus Meeting took place (article here)
Today it was the turn of a somewhat lesser “beast” but one which nevertheless is very dear to many, many people right through the generations here in Italy.
After all who could imagine Italy without the sight and sound of the Vespa? – the post-war mode of transport (along with the three wheeler Ape) which changed the face of this country.
Today they were Vespas of all types, sizes, ages and colours to suit a huge variety of tastes as over 200 Vespa enthusiasts from right across northern Italy converged on the city of Barga for the fifth annual interregional Vespa meeting.
